The Nike Legend was first launched in 1983 and is one of basketball’s most legendary sneakers. Its simple design featured a single white upper with the Nike brand swoosh. The shoe was designed for “heavyweight” basketball players and was worn by Patrick Ewing when he played for the Georgetown Hoyas. <\/p>\n
The Nike Legend was a testing ground for many new innovations in basketball technology. It was one of the first Nike basketball sneakers to feature a colored outsole.
